Import New Data over Existing Data

Question: I want to update data on tools already in the TTS database. Do I HAVE to do these one at a time from the Tool Information screen?

Answer: Version 1.11.5 added an “Update Tool Data Export/Import” function on the File menu. It allows the user to export current tool data to a tab delimited txt file and import it into a spreadsheet for modification. Save the changes back to a tab delimited txt file and import it on this screen. The tool data will be updated.

This screen will only update existing tools, it will not add new tools to the database.
