Create a Master (or Catalog) item from a Tool

Question: I already added a lot of tools/assets to my TTS database. How do I copy a tool record over to a create a new tool Master (or Catalog) item?

Answer: Select a Tool from the Find Tool screen. Then, from the Tool Information screen, Select “Edit”. Place an identifier (a tag by which to look up the Master (or Catalog) item later) in the Master (or Catalog) data field. (DON’T select the Master (or Catalog) ellipsis button, as this will just pull up a search screen of existing Master (or Catalog) items.)

Last, Select Save; this will save that Tool information as a new Catalog item.
