Battery in Handheld terminal is not taking a charge
Question: I have just received my new mobile terminal. I left it charging, in the dock, overnight; but, it will not function outside of the dock.
Answer: Some batteries ship with a protective covering over the battery pins. This film is very small and often missed when placing for the first time into the terminal. It must be removed or the battery will not charge.
It’s also possible there is a problem with either the battery or the dock. It may be necessary to contact our technical support group to troubleshoot the problem.
