Question: Is there a way to check all the tools that are assigned to one employee (or) location straight to another employee (or) location without having to scan each tool out individually?

Answer:  No and Yes.

From Employee to Employee, there’s no direct way to check out tools from one employee to another.

But, you  could assign a specific group of  tools to a “Container”. Then, you could check out the container from one employee to another.

From Location to Location (or) Location to Employee, you can check out a group of tools:

To do this, from the Check Out Function on the PC application:

Select the Location or Employee radio button.
Select the Tool Barcode description button.

From the resulting Tool Find screen, from the Location drop down field,

Select the Location you want to move tools from. Hold down the CTRL button on your keyboard and select the tools you wish to move by clicking on them with the left mouse button. (this will highlight all you wish to move). Once all are selected, Select the OK button on the Tool Find screen. All the selected tools will now be in Check Out grid.

Save or Save & Print to complete the transaction
