Question: I have data in my database that I didn’t enter, such as in the Funding and Account fields. Where did this come from? How do I get rid of it?
Answer: It sounds like you installed the software with the demo database instead of a blank database.
- If you have just begun to enter data, you could start over with a blank database. One of the following will be in your installation folder, depending upon the product you’ve installed: win_tts_clean.mdb, or win_ats_clean.mdb, or win_sts_clean.mdb.
Simply copy the clean DB and rename it, depending upon the product you’ve installed, to win_tts.mdb , or win_ats.mdb, or win_sts.mdb. Then, restart the application.
2. If you have begun entering data and there’s too much to begin again, you can Enable the Delete/Purge option from the FILE Tab | Setup Options menu……. Then you can go through and manually delete the unwanted records.
(You must have, and logon with, the Global Logon information to access the Setup Options Menu.)
